Our Approach To Web Design

 

Stage 1

If you currently do not have a domain name for your site

(http://www.yourdomainname.com), we can arrange this purchase

for  you as well as hosting with an appropriate  ISP (Internet Service 

Provider).  Typical cost for this service is usually under $100 to set

up, depending on the size of your web site.

 

Stage 2

Determine the contents of your site. We will work with

your content to arrange it in a logical format for ease of navigation

for the average web user.  If the client has already decided on the

content of the site, much of this work has already been completed.

 

Stage 3

Development of your web site on a stand alone

computer, prior to being published on the Internet.  We will work with

the content determined in stage 2 and publish this to restricted web

space on DigiMedics servers to allow for viewing and changes by

the  client as needed before going 'live' on The Web.  This insures

that your page is right the first time and allows for discussion of the

content and presentation before being available to the general public.

 

 Stage 4

Publication and testing.  After you're satisfied with your

web site, DigiMedics will transfer it for you to your chosen ISP.

Once transferred all facets of the site will be tested to insure proper

functionality. We build our sites to be compatible with all current web

browsers.

 

Finally,

The web site may be submitted to various Internet search

engines and indices, as agreed with you.  We create custom META

tags to make it easy to find your site on The Web.  Maintenance--

It's unlikely the your web site will remain in its finished state

indefinitely; you will certainly want its contents changed over time. 

DigiMedics can republish and update  your site as often as you wish

and in many cases  we can teach you to do this for yourself.
